Going to the Bathroom Without Toilet Paper

My friend Angie, at our last preparedness meeting, brought up a good way to prepare for future toiletry needs when TP isn't available and perhaps a flushing toilet isn't either.

She suggested a small plastic trash can that is lined with a nylon net washing bag (the type with a drawstring).  Then she sewed about 20 flannel squares, actually rectangles, about 10 x 5 inches, with serged edges.  With that she had a bottle of water, the bottle being a liquid dishwashing soap bottle that was empty of soap and just had water in it (although you might also consider using a bit of mild disinfectant in the water).  When done wiping your self with the flannel cloth, you can put it in the net bag and when full, or when ready,  you can then take the nylon net back to a washing area and go from there.

It's not perfect, but it's the best idea I've seen so far.
